Alaska Airlines announced it will offer seasonal service from the Bellingham International Airport to Maui, beginning Nov. 8.
The carrier will fly four weekly flights to Maui between November 2012 and April 2013 on Boeing 737-800 aircrafts.
Alaska already operates flights from Bellingham to the Honolulu International Airport.
“Our growing service out of Bellingham gives customers across western Washington and southern British Columbia more ways to reach sunny Hawaii,” said Joe Sprague, Alaska Airlines’ vice president of marketing, in a press release.
Alaska Airlines is one of two airlines at the Bellingham airport that have added flights to the tropical U.S. state.
Allegiant Air launches Hawaii service this November.
Alaska also offers Bellingham flights to Las Vegas and Seattle, as well as seasonal service to Portland, Ore.
