The Northwest Clean Air Agency has named Mark Buford as the new executive director. Buford is a 15-year veteran of the agency. He will be the fifth executive director in the organization’s 50-year history. The NW Clean Air Agency enforces air quality regulations in Island, Skagit and Whatcom counties.

Bellingham’s Fanatik Bike Co. has continued its eight-year tradition, and teamed up with Vancouver, B.C. based Norco Bicycles to provide new bikes to the Bellingham Boy’s and Girl’s Club. The Industrial Credit Union’s fourth annual Food Truck Round Up on Sept. 24 raised more than $55,000 for local food banks.
