Big Brothers Big Sisters bowling fundraiser brings in $36,000 to help children in Whatcom County

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Washington raised $36,000 at its annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser on April 21. The event was held at Park Bowl on Meridian Street. The donation amount was 12 percent higher than what the nonprofit raised at the same event last year. Fifty-eight teams participated in the fundraiser.
