“Cuts for a Cause” raises $300

Imagine Hair Salon held the second annual “Cuts for a Cause” benefit at Meridian Haggen on Sunday, Sept. 6, and over $300 was raised to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Washington (BBBSNW).
Imagine offered $15 haircuts and other services while Haggen provided $1 hot dogs for hungry attendees and passersby. All proceeds directly benefit BBBSNW’s mission to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships.
“This was our second annual event … to support local nonprofits,” Imagine Hair Salon Owner Kelly Thorsteinson said. “Haggen on Meridian has been a huge help giving us a place to do the event and also supplying hot dogs and a barbecue so that we can raise even more money. We are very excited to be doing it again next year and partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters in the future.”
