Cloud Mountain Farm & Nursery will host a farmer-to-farmer educational series and farm walk from noon to 4 p.m. on Monday, July 23.
The event is sponsored by Tilth Producers and Washington State University’s Small Farms Program.
Cloud Mountain, located at 6906 Goodwin Road in Everson, has grown tree fruit, grapes and vegetables, as well as more than 1,000 varieties of woody ornamental and fruit plants, for three decades. Farm owner Tom Thornton recently added a farmer training center that hosts a variety of fruit and gardening workshops and a public fruit festival.
The July 23 event costs $15 for Tilth Producers members, students and intern, and $25 for nonmembers.
