Misty Mountains Realty gets new owners

Local real estate investors Tyrel Jackson and Bret VanLant recently purchased Misty Mountains Realty, a Maple Falls real estate company originally established in 1990, and are now offering real estate sales and management services at 8193 Kendall Road.
Tyrel Jackson, co-owner and branch manager, said he and VanLant have been friends since the fourth grade and have both worked in real estate for the past 10 years.
Jackson said they both own rentals in the area and have been eyeing Misty Mountains Realty for some time.
“It just sort of worked out so that we could keep an eye on our rentals and work on growing within the market,” Jackson said.
The company has four agents aside from Jackson and VanLant and accepts clients from all over Whatcom County.
