Lodder earns certification

The Bellingham Business Journal

Debby Lodder, owner of Everson-based Edwards Drapery & Interiors, recently earned certification as a Hunter Douglas Professional Dealer, one of only five in all of Washington state.

Lodder completed more than 30 hours of classes that provided in-depth information on products, lifting systems, size maximums, fabric choices and much more about Hunter Douglas, the leading manufacturer of custom-made window fashions in North America. She also attended the NeoCon East trade show Oct. 28 and 29 in Baltimore to learn more about new products, design ideas and the latest advances in environmentally friendly fabrics.

“It is of utmost importance to me to increase my knowledge of the window fashions industry through education, by attending trade shows, seminars and webinars, and by reading trade publications and blogs,” Lodder said. “I’ve made it my ongoing mission to be very knowledgeable about the products I sell so that I can provide the best possible choices and information to my clients.”

Edwards Drapery & Interiors specializes in sales, design and installation of custom window coverings, including drapes, valances, blinds, and shades. The company serves residential and commercial clients, as well as churches, schools, libraries and other facilities with special needs.
