Liv Fest, a benefit concert to support Olivia Cook, a Ferndale child who needs a kidney transplant, will take place on May 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Fairhaven Village Green.
The day-long event features music from the Dagwoods, Umami, FHS Drum Line and others.
The six-year-old girl is currently on the kidney transplant list at Children’s Hospital in Seattle. She was diagnosed with Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease and the Cook family needs approximately $60,000 to pay for the transplant. Donations from Liv Fest will go toward assisting the Cook family.
