Northwest Youth Services to host gala fundraiser

Northwest Youth Services (NWYS) is hosting Carnivalesque, a gala dinner and dance on Friday, Nov. 6 with major sponsorship from Superfeet and IMCO General Construction. Proceeds from the event will benefit Northwest Youth Services programs for homeless and underprivileged youth.
“We want people to come out of the cold for a hot night of fun and entertainment that will support our community’s at-risk young people,” said Development Chairperson and Board Member, Amber Hagel Wichers.
Carnivalesque will be held at Bellingham’s Golf and Country Club located on Meridian Street in Bellingham. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails and games followed by dinner served at 7 p.m. with Sam Samuelson of Tulalip Casino as the master of ceremonies. After dinner, dancing to the tunes of The Mighty Pawns will extend the merriment into the late evening.
Games include a balloon buy, darts, a silent auction, dessert dash and a head ‘n tails raffle. Dozens local businesses have donated tons of great prizes and auction items for the event.
