After Sept. 23, Jane Richardson will begin taking appointments for her new business: Skyline Physical Therapy. The business will operate inside Gold’s Gym at 1504 Iowa St.
Richardson has been a practicing physical therapist for 10 years doing mostly out-patient orthopedic clinical care. She also has certifications in manual therapy, a hands-on technique that helps restore motion in the joints, spine and extremities.
Richardson also just finished her terminal professional degree in the Doctorate of Science program at Texas Tech University through a distance learning program. Now that she has lots of practical experience and an advanced degree, Richardson said it was time to start her own business.
“Essentially, I am spreading my wings and going out on my own,” she said. “I now have the tools, resources and knowledge to start my own business.”
Richardson said she can help patients with spinal issues, sports injuries, post-surgical issues, chronic pain, dizziness, vertigo and post-vehicle accident rehabilitation.
“I am looking forward to promoting wellness in whatever form and fashion the individual needs,” Richardson said.
