Snapper Shuler Kenner adds five to firm

Snapper Shuler Kenner (SSK) recently added five employees: Vicki Parker Smollen, Shane Vander Geissen, Luanne Lagerwey, Meghan Bolt and Samantha Lamp.

Vicki Parker Smollen comes to SSK with more than 20 years’ experience as a property casualty account executive with a large national insurance brokerage. She has extensive risk management and insurance technical expertise with a focus on client service. Her previous clients ranged from privately held local firms to publicly traded corporations with multi-state and international exposures.

Shane Vander Geissen graduated from the University of Washington business school in June 2009 and works as a personal lines insurance agent focusing on bringing new business to the agency.

Meghan Bolt is a Lynden High School graduate who also attended Whatcom Community College in 2008. She worked in the accounting office at Northwest Honda for four years before making the jump to SSK. Currently, she works in the medical benefits department as administrative assistant dealing with both group and individual medical plans.

Luanne Lagerwey has worked locally for the last 25 years at Lloyd’s Electronics in Lynden before coming over to SSK as receptionist and personal lines customer service.

Samantha Lamp was born and raised in Lynden and graduated from Lynden High School. With an extensive history in customer service, Samantha has taken a position at SSK as a receptionist.
