SpookShop Party and Costume at 4176 Meridian St. will remain open for the rest of the holidays.

Owner James Burke said the store, which is usually only around for Halloween, is boxing up its darker side to make room for holiday items, such as: Santa suits, pilgrim costumes, stocking stuffers and collectible gifts.

“People need to know that we are still here and that there is still a reason to come in and shop,” Burke said. “We’re not just for Halloween anymore.”

Burke said the store will offer theatrical costumes, makeup, professional clown makeup, as well as gift offerings Star Wars and Harry Potter fans.

“We’re an ever-changing place as far as the items we offer; it will always be a fun place to shop,” Burke said.
