Whitfields Insurance moves to Ohio Street

The Bellingham office of Whitfields Insurance has moved to a 1,000 square-foot location at 108 Ohio St. to be closer to downtown Bellingham. The office was formerly located in more than 2,000 square feet at 4140 Meridian St., Suite 220.
Rob Knode, sales executive with Whitfields Insurance, said the old office was too big and a bit hidden for their customers. Plus, getting closer to downtown will increase visibility and help the business be more connected to the community.
“For the most part, locals don’t like going up to the Guide (Meridian),” Knode said. “We’ve heard that and have responded.”
