2020 ENGINEERING’s projects win multiple awards

Several projects that 2020 ENGINEERING has provided consulting engineering services on over the past year have recently been recognized with awards.

The Washington Aggregate’s and Concrete Association recently awarded 2020 ENGINEERING an Excellence in Concrete Construction award in the pervious pavement category for their low-impact stormwater management design on the Wilson Motors’ car lot in Bellingham.

The City of Bellingham’s Northshore Drive improvements recently won its second award, the Transportation Honor Award for 2009. The Seattle Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers gave this award for innovative stormwater treatment methods.

Additionally, the Vancouver Land Bridge, in Vancouver, Wash., won multiple awards in the past year:  Clark County Community Development, 2008 Community Pride Design; American Council of Engineering Companies, Oregon Chapter, 2009 Engineering Excellence Grand Award; Oregon Concrete and Aggregate Producers Association, 2009 Excellence in Concrete Award; Portland Daily Journal of Commerce, Top Project 2008.

2020 designed the rainwater catchment, rainwater harvesting, and used the collected water to supply the site’s irrigation demands.
