5K raises funds for vocational help for disabled people

Work Opportunities, a nonprofit that provides job training and vocational help to people with disabilities, is raising money with a 5K run and walk.

The third annual Run, Walk and Roll 5K on Sunday, Oct. 19, is open to all ages and abilities. The wheelchair accessible course starts and ends at the Squalicum Boathouse, at 2600 S. Harbor Loop, at Zuanich Point Park, according to a press release.

The event also includes food trucks, live music, and a raffle.

Race registration ends at 10:00 a.m. on Oct. 19, and the race begins at 10:30 p.m.
