65 skill demonstrations planned for Whatcom Skillshare Faire

Want to learn some new skills? Presenters at the third annual Whatcom Skillshare Faire will demonstrate more than 65 skills, including aquaponic gardening, toolmaking, electric car conversion, raising rabbits, making buckskin, and small scale seed and grain processing.

The event, put on by Transition Whatcom and co-sponsored by the Center for Local Self-Reliance, will be held Aug. 23 and 24, at Hovander Park in Ferndale.
