Nine agents join Keller Williams Realty

Nine real estate agents joined Keller Williams Western Realty in Bellingham this fall. Each brings a diverse background and education to the third- largest real estate company in Whatcom County.

Don Hale owned a successful industrial supply business in Everett and Bellingham before getting his license a year and a half ago.

New agent Christopher McNamara is originally from the East Coast and has a degree in resort management. He loves architecture and working with people.

Former coffee shop owner Sharee Powers has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from WWU. A Mount Vernon native, she moved to Bellingham in 1999.

Bellingham native Shannon Medearis has a master’s degree in education and taught elementary school for five years in addition to owning her own business. She has been a full-time Realtor for the past three years.

Kathryn Morice has lived in Whatcom County since 1984 and previously worked as a director’s assistant in planning and community development. She holds a bachelor’s degree in counseling from the University of Victoria and is an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP).

Daljit Singh Dhillon attended college in India and speaks Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu, in addition to English. He has been in real estate for two and a half years and moved to Whatcom County in 1993 to be closer to family.

Janice O’Rourke is a Seattle native and has been in real estate for two years. She formerly worked in the escrow and title business and has lived in Whatcom County for more than 20 years.

Jeffrey Ostreim has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from WWU and has worked as an IBEW electrician for 10 years and a builder for three years.

Yuridia Pineda was born in Mexico but was raised in Washington state. Her background includes working as a quality control manager and trainer for an insurance tracking company. She speaks fluent Spanish.

Keller Williams is the third largest real estate company is the United States. The 10,000-square-foot office on the corner of Lincoln and Byron streets houses more than 90 licensed agents and support staff.
