Allegiant moving flights from Long Beach to L.A.

Starting Nov. 18, Allegiant will stop flying directly from Bellingham into Long Beach, Calif., and will increase service between Bellingham and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

“Moving these flights from Long Beach to Los Angeles will give our customers additional options to fly to the heart Los Angeles,” Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant president, said in a press release.

The additional route will bring the total number of flights between Bellingham and LAX to four times a week, operating on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Allegiant also serves Las Vegas, Oakland, Palm Springs, San Diego and Phoenix from Bellingham.

  1. I loved that Long Beach connection. Most of the time you don’t want to be in the center of LA, like if you’re going to Disneyland, Long Beach is much better. OH well. Perhaps there weren’t enough people flying the Long Beach leg.
