It’s election season, which means just about every challenger in every race will soon be playing the “we’re worse off than we were when my opponent got elected” card.
It’s a well-played bit of political fluff, but we’ll hear it quite a bit nonetheless in the upcoming months.
Lets head that thought off with a related one of our own: How is Bellingham doing, as a city, compared to, say, 10 years ago?
Are we better off or in worse shape?
Your answer to this question most likely lies within your stance on the city’s growth. If you are pro-growth or neutral on the subject, odds are you think we’re in better shape; if you’re on the other side of the issue, probably not.
