Local artist Chelsea Jepson recently opened a new boutique gallery called Tide Lines at 220 E. Maple St., in downtown Bellingham, among the “Alley District” small-business community on the South Bay Trail.

Tide Lines features  handmade art, objects and accessories. Jepson holds business hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays. Her gallery is also open on the first Friday evening of each month, during the Downtown Art Walk.

Jepson launched a jewelry design company, CRJ Arts, in 2009.
