Seattle-based Attachmate Corporation has signed a lease for new office space in the Gaston Bay Building, a LEED-certified office building at 2925 Roeder Ave.

Attachmate delivers advanced software for terminal emulation, application integration, and secure communications to more than 65,000 customers around the globe. The Bellingham location will provide software research and development to help businesses extend, manage, and secure their IT investments.

“With headquarters in Seattle and offices around the globe, the Bellingham location was ideal for our staff to have a creative and healthy environment with LEED benefits and panoramic views to the bay and the working waterfront,” said Darren Clark, product unit manager for Attachmate.

The Gaston Bay Building is an adaptive re-use of a former warehouse. The building was designed by Christensen Design Management and constructed by Franklin Corporation.
