Baker Place, an offshoot of Lydia Place, will celebrate the success of its new housing project Baker Place, which recently welcomed its first residents, Thursday, June 30 at 6 p.m. at Aslan Brewing, 330 N. Forest St., Bellingham.

Aslan Brewing, Western Solar and Itek Energy have partnered to donate a solar package for the Baker Place building. Aslan will release its Summer Solar Ale at the celebration, and five percent of the proceeds will go to the solar package.
