MineralRite Corp. of Ferndale has appointed two new members to its management team: James Bame as chief operating officer, and Raymond Almasi as director of sales.
MineralRite processes, certifies and sells precious metals, including gold, silver and platinum.
Bame earned a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Washington and a law degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He has worked with a number of universities on the commercialization of technology from their patent portfolios and research projects in the mining sector. Additionally, Bame has experience dealing with international organizations and governments in the mining and energy sector. Many of his patent and consulting clients have come from the mining and precious metals field.
Almasi has more than 15 years of executive level management experience, including 8 years of mineral industry sales and purchasing of natural iron ore, chrome ore, copper ore and antimony ore in the international market. He spent the past five years living in Shanghai, China, serving as purchasing adviser to several Chinese mineral-trading companies and as president and CEO of three international trading companies.
