Barkley Toasters, a local toastmasters group, is hosting an open house at noon on Friday, March 7.

The group meets for one hour at noon on the first, third and fifth Fridays of each month in the Dorothy Haggen Building at 2211 Rimland Drive, Suite 106, in Bellingham. Treats and social time follow regular meetings.

Toastmasters groups help their members develop and practice public speaking skills.
