Creators of “Being The Change,” a Bellingham-based online video series featuring stories of individuals, families and businesses making positive changes to their community, have announced major upgrades to the project’s website.
The series, produced by Revolutionary Productions, will be filmed in Bellingham over the next year. It will initially be available at www.beingthechange.net. The company is also working to eventually air the series on network television.
“We are overjoyed that our site is finally live so we can share our vision and project with you
all. Our city is so amazing.” James Bauckman, Revolutionary Productions owner, said in a Feb. 6 press release. “I am always so proud of the men and women in our community, the work they are doing and their commitment to a fair and sustainable city.”
“Being the Change” episodes will feature discussions at its “Speak Out” sessions, where local residents are given a chance to discuss a wide variety of topics including access to quality education and health care, safe work environments, living-wage jobs, city and county politics, clean water and healthy food.
In addition to episodes showcasing stories of positive change, the upgraded site will feature instructional videos, documents and organizational tools to connect people, businesses and organizations searching for solutions to local issues.
