Katti Esp of Bellingham is teaching an October class on estate planning and probate issues at Whatcom Community College.

The class, titled “Taking the Fear Out of Wills and Estate Planning,” is offered from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 30. It costs $59, with the fee also including complementary registration of a participant’s spouse or partner.

Class instructors Esp, who is a principal of Wealth Retention Services in Bellingham, and Kevin Young, a CPA at Larson Gross, plan to cover wills, revocable living trusts, community property agreements and durable powers of attorney.

Esp has practiced law in Bellingham since 1996. Her practice focuses on individualized estate plans and the probate process.
