In April at the international competition, World Beer Cup 2010, Chuckanut Brewery won a gold medal in the Dunkel Lager category for its offering, marking its third victory with that particular beverage.

Boundary Bay Brewery was also in the contest and won a silver medal for its Dunkies Bock in the German-Style Doppelbock/Eisbock category, a bronze medal for its Imperial IPA in the Imperial India Pale Ale category and another bronze for its Cabin Fever ale in the Strong Ale category.
