The Kiwanis Club of Bellingham will host Sylvester Neal, the president of Kiwanis International, at its meeting June 21. The event will last from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bellingham Golf & Country Club.

Neal first joined the Kiwanis Club of Fairbanks in 1980 and has served the club in various positions over the years. His professional career includes 26 years of service in fire fighting, airport security, and two appointed terms as the state fire marshal for Alaska.
