Massage therapist Marie Matteson of Bellingham has earned the highest level of certification awarded by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.

The certification requires candidates to attain 750 hours of education; log 250 hours of professional, hands-on experience; pass a national background check and have current CPR certification.

Matteson practices at 414 Girard St. Bellingham in Peeples Physical Therapy’s new location.
