The Bellingham TechExpo + Job Fair will be held from 1-6 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, at Fox Hall, Hampton Inn Bellingham-Airport.
The free event will feature exhibitors and employers including Logos Bible Software, 3D Corporation, Varvid, abse, CSS Communications, DIS Corporation, Noel Communications, Whatcom Community College, Wolfe Internet Services, Lucid Consulting and others. Local educational institutions will also be in attendance to talk to those interested in pursuing a career in technology, and Bellingham Whatcom County Tourism will be present to talk to out-of-area job-seekers about the region and quality of life it has to offer.
The event is coordinated by the nonprofit Technology Alliance Group for Northwest Washington.
Participating employers are looking to fill positions in a variety of technology jobs, including ASP web programmer, IT application programmer/DBA, IT systems administrator, director of quality assurance, embedded firmware/software developer, electrical engineer/manufacturing test engineer, research and development engineer and systems administrator.
There will also be free break-out sessions offered by select exhibitors offering insight into some of the products and services they offer.
