Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Washington hosts its 8th annual Golf Classic on Friday, July 20, at the Sudden Valley Golf Course in Bellingham.

The event is sponsored by Nooksack River Casino and Nooksack Northwood Casino.

“Every dollar raised supports mentoring programs that not only give kids a brighter future, but make an impact on our community,” said Stan Chronister, tournament director and a Big Brothers Big Sisters board member, in a press release.

The four-person scramble will begin with registration at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. A dinner banquet is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Participants will have chances to win prizes from contests throughout the day. The hole-in-one contest is sponsored by Diehl Ford of Bellingham.

Entry fees are $135 per player and $520 for a team of four.
