Big Fat Fish Co. hires new general manager, makes menu and pricing changes

The Big Fat Fish Co., a casual steak and seafood restaurant located in Fairhaven, has added Bill McCormack as its new general manager.

“I am thrilled to be part of the Big Fat Fish Co. crew,” McCormack said, in a March 14 press release. “We are changing the restaurant from the fine dining concept to a more casual atmosphere. We want our customers to feel at home.”

McCormack was recently a restaurant and beverage manager for Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine. He is also a former owner and manager of The Keg restaurant in Bellingham.

The Big Fat Fish Co., which opened in 2006, has a variety of menu options including steak, seafood and chicken. It serves lunch starting at 11:30 a.m. and dinner starting at 4 p.m. There is also a daily happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“Our goal is to give our customers great food and service at a great price,” McCormack said. “Retro favorites like French onion soup, shrimp cocktail and scallops and bacon are among the menu changes—and we have started our prime rib dinner special on Saturday nights.”
