Blue Skies for Children recently announced its Fall Driver’s Education Scholarship recipients. Ryan Wiltse and Miguel Clemente of Squalicum High School and Anthony Hines of Ferndale High School will each receive a scholarship toward driver’s education.
The program was established by Blue Skies in spring of 2009 and awards three scholarships in spring and fall of $225 toward an accredited driver’s education course. The application requires a short essay and a minimum 2.0 grade point average, as well as school and family references.
The scholarship is available to teens between 15 and 17 years old. Applications for spring 2010 scholarships are available now by calling Blue Skies for Children at (360) 756-6710 or by visiting www.blueskiesforchildren.org.
