A bocce tournament, which organizers say is Washington state’s largest, will take place on Saturday, April 20, with proceeds benefitting the Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center.
The tournament, hosted by Tom McNutt of Boccemon, will feature 32 sponsored teams. Check-in for the event, held at the Bellingham Sportsplex, begins at 9 a.m., and the championship match is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. The event will also feature a salmon barbecue lunch and a Boundary Bay Brewery beer garden.
Registration is now open and available online at www.whatcomdrc.org. Organizers said early registration is strongly encouraged as the tournament sells out and only a few more sponsorship slots are available. Sponsorship includes the opportunity to build a team of four and market your business. Individual player slots are available through pre-registration, as well.
