Boeing strategic planner to speak at WWU, Jan. 31

Jerry Allyne, the vice president of strategic planning and analysis for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, will speak from 3-4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, in Room 110 of the Communication Facility at Western Washington University.

Allyne’s visit is part of the Strategic Management Executive Strategy Speaker Series, presented by the Center for Innovation in Education at WWU’s College of Business and Economics. The event is free and open to the public.

Allyne got his start in Silicon Valley in the early ’80s, working as an electrical engineer. He joined Boeing Co. as an engineer in 1986, and has served in his current role since July 2010. Part of his job involves management of the Boeing Current Market Outlook, a 20-year global projection of air traffic volumes and airplane demand.
