Bootcamp for Entrepreneurs offered through WWU

Several organizations teamed up to offer a program for aspiring entrepreneurs who want to start of grow a small business.

Western Washington University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Whatcom Community College, and the NW Innovation Resource Center (NWIRC) put together a course called “Build your business: a bootcamp for entrepreneurs,” that starts in February.

Students will learn through weekly classroom workshops, online content, and business planning software. SBDC’s Jennifer Shelton and NWIRC’s Lara Merriam-Smith will facilitate the workshops, which are held at Whatcom Community College from Feb. 12 to March 19.

There’s a free information session about the course from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22 at Whatcom Community College’s Foundation Building, Room 105.

To RSVP for the information session, call the Whatcom Community College Community & Continuing Education office at (360) 383-3200 or visit the Whatcom Community College website.
