Boundary Bay Brewery has announced a new partnership with Bellingham Bay Coffee Roasters.
The downtown Bellingham brewery will now serve a special signature-blend of Bellingham Bay Coffee Roasters coffee.
The relationship has also inspired a new Boundary Bay beer: the Nitro Header Stout, which incorporates Bellingham Bay Coffee’s “morning header” blend.
Boundary Bay’s owners said teaming up with the local coffee roaster was an easy decision considering both companies emphasize support for the local community and economy in crafting their products.
The new coffee stout is on tap in the brewery, located on Railroad Avenue, and will also be available at Civic Field during Bellingham United soccer home games.
“It’s a great way to build relationships in this community, strengthen our local economy and support the new Bellingham United soccer team,” Ed Bennett, Boundary Bay’s owner, said in a May 9 press release. “This is exactly what local beer, local business and local living can achieve.”
