Boundary Bay Brewery in Bellingham has won a series of awards from Northwest Brewing News, a bi-monthly publication that focuses on the regional brewing industry.
Boundary Bay was awarded the 2012 titles of Best Brewpub in Washington State, Best Scotch Ale in the Northwest and Best IPA in the Northwest.
The brewery has won the best IPA titles six out of the past eight years. It has also been named as the state’s best brewpub five years in a row.
The Northwest Brewing News‘ awards are chosen by a vote of its readers.
“The Northwest Brewing News Reader’s Choice Awards mean a lot to us,” said Ed Bennett, owner of Boundary Bay Brewery, in a press release. “We are honored to have been awarded Best Brewpub again, and so proud to have two of our beers named as best in the Northwest.”
