Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro opened its doors Sept. 16, 1995 and its 15th anniversary will not go by without a Boundary-style celebration that will include food, wine, music, of course, beer.
The party is free, family-friendly and open to the public, and in fact, is a sort of celebration of the public.
“We really appreciate the community being able to give us 15 years of business. Being a part of this community is really, really, really something special,” said Casey Diggs, operations manager for the brewery.
Festivities will be held from 4 p.m. to midnight, Sept. 16, in the Boundary Bay beer garden.
“Cross your fingers the sun stays out,” Diggs said.
Cake will be served and special barley wine and double dry hopped IPA poured amid what will likely be dancing partygoers.
The music lineup is Robert Blake from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., The Gallus Brothers from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wells Creek Band from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Marion Weston Band from 9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. There will also be some special acts, but Diggs wouldn’t divulge specifics because they are suppose to remain surprises.
