Bellingham’s Boundary Bay Brewery has introduced a new Irish Red Ale to its popular line of microbrews.
Brewers plan to release a cask of the new ale during a special Cask Night event from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16. Twenty-two ounce bottles will be available at the brewery, loacted at 1107 Railroad Ave. in Bellingham, as well as in select stores.
The deep-red ale is a light-bodied brew with medium-to-low hop bitterness and a toffee-like, roasted yet malty, clean finish, according to the brewery.
Irish Red Ale will be available on tap throughout February and March.
