Boundary Bay Brewery has reorganized its kitchen management team to handle plans for expansion of the restaurant.
The team will include Sean Hedman as executive chef, Matt Hansen as sous chef and Ilana Knudsen as catering manager.
Hedman will oversee kitchen operations. He has worked at the brewery since 2006 and has worked in the industry for 25 years.
As sous chef, Hansen will oversee plating, quality control and coordinate the staff of 20 people. He graduated from the culinary program at Bellingham Technical College in 2009 and has worked at the brewery for about four years.
Knudsen has worked at the brewery for about five years and took over catering in 2008. Boundary Bay Brewery has also experienced growth in their catering program in recent years.
