Bellingham Technical College will host a free career fair on Thursday, April 28, for the manufacturing, construction and engineering occupational fields.
Representatives from local and regional companies, including Alcoa Intalco Works, Puget Sound Energy, BP Cherry Point Refinery, Index Sensors and Controls Inc. and CH2M Hill, will attend to share information about current and future employment opportunities.

The following day — April 29 — the Technology Alliance Group for Northwest Washington (TAG) will host Bellingham TechNight, a job fair for local tech jobs, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal.
TechNight will feature exhibits by 12 employers who are looking to fill a variety of technology positions, including information technology, software and advanced manufacturing sector jobs. Participating companies include 3D Corporation, Alpha Technologies, Big Fresh Media, Grizzly Industrial Inc., Logos Bible Software and Samson Rope.
Educational representatives from Whatcom Community College and Western Washington University’s MBA program will also be present.
Attendees are encouraged to take resumes or business cards to the free event, which will feature door prizes, food and drinks.
This year, TechNight will partner with Linuxfest Northwest, a local technology conference that attracts more than 1,000 industry professionals to Bellingham. TechNight will serve as a welcome reception for LinuxFest, and will be promoted to conference attendees from around the country.
