Business Bank, a locally owned bank based in Skagit and Whatcom counties, recently promoted John Cruikshank to senior vice president and manager of the Bellingham branch.
Cruikshank, who has been with the bank for nearly five years, earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration at Western Washington University and has more than 20 years of banking experience in Whatcom County with both local and national banks.
“We are lucky to have John at Business Bank,” Mike Cann, the bank’s president and CEO, said in a press release. “His extensive expertise in commercial lending and strong customer relationships will be put to good use as our branch manager in the Bellingham area.”
Cruikshank lives in Ferndale with his wife Kay and three children. He is an active board member of the Ferndale Boys and Girls Club and the Ferndale Girls Basketball Association.
