Business leaders to discuss raising capital on March 20

Since 2008, crowd funding has changed the ways businesses can raise capital and banks are slowly starting to approve more small business loans.

To explore old and new options for funding growth, the Technology Alliance Group for Northwest Washington is hosting a discussion titled “Access to Capital” at 11:30 a.m. on March 20 at the Pickford Film Center.

A panel will discuss funding business growth through bank loans, angel investors, crowd funding campaigns and more. Panelists are Lara Merriam-Smith from Northwest Innovation Resource Center, Glenn Butler from the Bellingham Angel Investors, John Stewart from Heritage Bank and Paul Grey, investor and CEO of Qualnetics.
