The League of Women Voters of Bellingham/Whatcom County and the city of Bellingham are holding an Oct. 4 candidate forum for state Legislature seats up for election in the 40th and 42nd districts.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the event in the Bellingham Municipal Court at 2014 C St.

The forum will be broadcast live and also available on the city’s website.
