Lyndie Case has recently been appointed as the new coordinator for Western Washington University’s Campus Community Coalition.
The coalition was initially funded through a grant by both Western and the City of Bellingham and was meant to address issues of mutual concern to both the city and the university.The WWU president’s office has provided additional money to continue the program’s mission beyond the time alloted by the grant.
Case received her bachelor’s degree from Western in secondary education. She has a state teaching certificate for health and theater. She has worked as a health teacher at Chinook Middle School, a program manager and substance abuse project specialist in Anacortes, and for the last four years, she has worked as a coordinator for a program to reduce underage drinking in Burlington.
