CB Wholesale reaches 30-year mark in business

CB Wholesale, a roofing, drywall and steel stud dealer with locations in Bellingham and Burlington, celebrates 30 years in business this month.

To celebrate its anniversary, CB Wholesale held a barbecue for employees and customers in Bellingham. Additional events are planned throughout the year at both locations.

“This is a significant milestone for any company,” said Brent Walker, the company’s president, in a press release. “We are extremely proud and honored to have served our customers for 30 years. The key to our success is our dedicated employees and loyal customers. Our goal is to create enduring win-win relationships. We’ve accomplished that and more.”

With more than 300 active customers and 23 employees, CB Wholesale continues to live by their philosophy “operate with integrity.”

The company’s employees are also dedicated to the charitable giving. In recent months, they donated more $1,000 to local charities.

“The word that comes to mind when dealing with the personnel at CB Wholesale is integrity,” said longtime customer Doug Van Beek of Van Beek Drywall Inc. “It doesn’t matter if our personnel are dealing with Mark Mendenhall at the main office, branch managers Ed Lynch or Mike Madan, or Ryan, Kevin, and Tyson at the counter, or anyone else in the organization, we are treated with professionalism, honesty, and respect. It’s hard to believe our relationship began more than 30 years ago. This relationship has grown into a true partnership which we value greatly.”

CB Wholesale began in 1982 in Burlington, Wash., as a single location roofing materials distributor.

The company is online at www.cbwholesale.com.
