The Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced local business winners in a variety of categories during its 11th annual awards dinner on Thursday, Dec. 3, at the Silver Reef Hotel Casino Spa.
The winners were:
Small Business of the Year: Radley Muller Photography
Large Business of the Year: Biolife Plasma Services
CEO of the Year: Mike Hammes, Ram Construction
Man of the Year: Darrell Hillaire, producer, writer, founder of the Lummi Youth Academy
Woman of the Year: Mary Kay Becker, Washington Court of Appeals
Young Professional of the Year: Emily Rose Mowrey, Limitless Law
Millie Deford Chamber Ambassador of the Year: Leena Kirschman, Caliber Home Loans
Tourism Partner of the Year: Northwest Washington Fair Association
In November, the chamber announced winners of two other awards.
The Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Services of Whatcom County (DVSAS) won the chamber’s Nonprofit of the Year award, and Green House Data won Green Business of the Year.
