Rob Holmes, executive chef at Keenan’s at the Pier restaurant inside The Chrysalis Inn & Spa has two recipes featured in “A Taste of Washington: Favorite Recipes from the Evergreen State,” by Michele Morris.
Holmes contributed recipes for chickpea cakes with tzatziki sauce, and wilted spinach salad to the book, which came out Aug. 14.
The cookbook includes 120 recipes from 68 restaurants, lodges, and bed-and-breakfasts in the state. Holmes is the only Whatcom County chef with recipes in the book.
Cookbooks are available for $29.95 in the Chrysalis Inn & Spa’s gift shop.
