Coldwell Banker Miller-Arnason merges with Coldwell Banker Bain

Coldwell Banker Miller-Arnason, located at 3610 Meridian St., recently merged with Coldwell Banker Bain (CBBain), a real estate brokerage company with 25 locations in Washington.

CBBain’s Bellingham office was founded in 1907 by the grandfather of current managing broker Gragg Miller, who took over in 1973. Since its founding, the office has grown from one broker to 60 who serve residential and commercial buyers and sellers throughout Whatcom County.

“After becoming a Coldwell Banker franchise in the 1990s, we gained the name recognition of the national brand,” Miller said in a press release. “Now that we’ve made the decision to join CBBain, we’re gaining high local brand recognition and the support of a strong regional company that believes in technology and marketing support.”

The merger was an easy decision for CBBain, the company’s executive vice president Dick Fulton said in a press release.

“Coldwell Banker Bain is a strong believer in the long-term value of Pacific Northwest real estate and our recent acquisitions reflect this,” he said in the release.

The company now has offices stretching from Oregon, where it operates as Coldwell Banker Seal, all the way up to Bellingham.
